Skanda Purana — Brahma Khanda, Shloka 64

दद्याच्च दक्षिणां तेभ्यो गोहिरण्यांबरादिकम् । भुंजीत तदनुज्ञातः सहेष्टजनबंधुभिः

dadyācca dakṣiṇāṃ tebhyo gohiraṇyāṃbarādikam | bhuṃjīta tadanujñātaḥ saheṣṭajanabaṃdhubhiḥ

And one should offer them dakṣiṇā, the priestly fee—cows, gold, garments, and the like. Then, with their permission, he should partake of the meal together with dear ones and kinsmen.
