gatvā yo manujo bhaktyā kāmakrodhavivarjitaḥ | vaiṣṇavīṃ bhāvanāṃ kṛtvā jaleśaṃ tu vrajeta vai
Whoever goes there with devotion, free from desire and anger, and, cultivating a Vaiṣṇava contemplation, approaches the Lord of the Waters—surely he attains the intended spiritual fruit.
Narrator of the Revā Khaṇḍa (deduced)
Tirtha: Jaleśa-tīrtha (as implied) on Revā/Narmadā
Type: temple
Listener: Pārtha (Arjuna) / nṛpa addressed in surrounding verses
Scene: A pilgrim, calm and restrained, stands at a riverbank shrine, hands in añjali, mind fixed in Vaiṣṇava contemplation, approaching a water-associated Viṣṇu form titled Jaleśa; the river glows as if sanctified by meditation.
Pilgrimage succeeds when joined to inner restraint—abandoning desire and anger—and steady Viṣṇu-centered contemplation.
The tīrtha being described in the passage—Cakratīrtha on the Narmadā—where Jaleśa is approached.
Adopt Vaiṣṇava bhāvanā (devotional contemplation) and approach/worship Jaleśa with purified mind.
