Thus, having respectfully accepted what has been stated regarding worship in the Vedic sequence, O twice-born one, I shall now explain another procedure—clearly and in a general form—for proper practice.
Sūta Gosvāmin
It emphasizes that Shiva-worship (especially Linga-pūjā) can be taught in both a strict Vedic sequence and also in a clear, broadly applicable method—so that sincere devotees can practice correctly with reverence.
By introducing an “another procedure” after the Vedic order, the text supports accessible Saguna worship of Shiva (as the Linga), where devotion and correctness of method are preserved even when the full Vedic sequence is not followed.
The verse signals a transition to a practical, general pūjā-vidhi—typically including orderly offerings, mantra-japa, and disciplined worship—so the practitioner can perform Shiva-pūjā properly even outside elaborate Vedic rites.
