Bondage and Liberation: The Prakṛti–Karma Wheel and Śiva as the Transcendent Cause
अतः शिवप्रसादेन प्रकृत्यादिवशं भवेत् । शिवप्रसादलाभार्थं शिवमेव प्रपूजयेत्
ataḥ śivaprasādena prakṛtyādivaśaṃ bhavet | śivaprasādalābhārthaṃ śivameva prapūjayet
Therefore, by Śiva’s grace one becomes free from subjection to Prakṛti and the like. To obtain that grace of Śiva, one should worship Śiva alone.

Tattva Level: pashu
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
Jyotirlinga: Viśvanātha
Sthala Purana: As Viśveśvara/Viśvanātha of Kāśī, Śiva is praised as the Lord who grants liberation by His grace; the teaching here frames mokṣa as release from Prakṛti through Śiva-prasāda rather than mere ritual merit.
Significance: Darśana and worship oriented to Śiva’s anugraha are held to loosen pāśa (bondage) and turn the soul toward liberation beyond Prakṛti.
Type: panchakshara
Role: liberating
It teaches that liberation is ultimately made possible by Śiva’s prasāda (grace), through which the soul is no longer dominated by Prakṛti and other binding conditions; hence devotion directed to Śiva is the direct means to receive that grace.
In the Vidyeśvara context, worship of Saguna Śiva—especially through the Śiva-liṅga as the accessible form of the Supreme—becomes the practical path to invoke Śiva’s grace, which then leads the devotee toward transcendence beyond material nature.
Single-pointed Śiva-upāsanā is implied—daily liṅga-pūjā with Panchākṣarī japa (Om Namaḥ Śivāya), offered with devotion to seek Śiva’s prasāda as the transforming power behind spiritual freedom.
