O best of kings, only that person upon whom She—the boon-giving Goddess who assumes whatever form she wills—becomes gracious truly crosses beyond delusion; it cannot be otherwise.
Lord Shiva (teaching within Umāsaṃhitā discourse)
Tattva Level: pashu
Shiva Form: Umāpati
Type: stotra
Shakti Form: Pārvatī
Role: liberating
It teaches that moha (binding delusion) is transcended by divine grace—here emphasized as the Goddess’s compassionate favor—aligning with Shaiva Siddhanta where liberation comes when Pati (the Lord) and His Shakti loosen the pasha (bond).
In Shiva Purana practice, Saguna worship (Linga-puja with mantra, bhava, and offerings) is a means to invoke Shiva-Shakti’s prasada; the verse underscores that inner transformation—freedom from moha—arises when that prasada is attained.
Cultivate prasada through steady bhakti: daily Linga worship with Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya), respectful remembrance of Uma-Parameshvara, and a sattvic life—so that delusion weakens and clarity arises.
