O yoginī, choose the boon that abides in your mind. There is nothing that cannot be granted—because I am bound by devotion and am under the power of my devotee.
Lord Shiva
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Umāpati
Shakti Form: Pārvatī
Role: liberating
The verse teaches that Shiva, the supreme Pati, freely responds to sincere devotion—so much so that He declares Himself “bhaktādhīna,” emphasizing grace (anugraha) as the key to spiritual fulfillment and liberation.
It supports Saguna upāsanā: when Shiva is worshipped as the compassionate Lord in form (including the Śiva-liṅga), devotion creates an intimate bond through which the devotee receives boons and, ultimately, Shiva’s liberating grace.
The practical takeaway is bhakti-yoga: steady remembrance of Shiva in the mind, supported by japa of the Panchākṣarī (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) and simple Shiva-pūjā (e.g., liṅga-abhiṣeka) offered with devotion.
