Cosmic Event: continuation of manvantara ṛṣi/lineage enumeration
The verse functions as a sacred enumeration of revered ṛṣis, emphasizing that Shaiva teaching is preserved and transmitted through purified lineages and disciplined seers—supporting the Siddhānta ideal of receiving right knowledge (jñāna) through an authentic paramparā.
By naming authoritative sages, the text anchors Linga/Saguna-Śiva worship in a trusted tradition of teachers and hearers; it implies that correct ritual, mantra, and devotion are safeguarded by those established in Vedic and Shaiva discipline.
No single rite is directly prescribed in this line; the practical takeaway is to approach Shiva worship—Pañcākṣarī japa, Tripuṇḍra, and Rudrākṣa discipline—through guidance aligned with the rishi-transmitted Shaiva tradition.
