सूत उवाच । स्वायंभुवो मनुश्चैव ततस्स्त्वारोचिषस्तथा । उत्तमस्तामसश्चैव रैवतश्चाक्षुषस्तथा

Sūta said: “First there was Svāyambhuva Manu; then Ārociṣa; then Uttama and Tāmasa; and likewise Raivata and Cākṣuṣa.”
