For the welfare of all the worlds, they gathered together and took counsel with one another. Then, as they set forth, they spoke—and indeed entered into Aditi, their mother.

Role: nurturing
Cosmic Event: deva-avatara intention (entering Aditi to be born for loka-hita)
It highlights a dharmic principle central to Shaiva thought: righteous action begins with saṅgati (harmonious assembly) and loka-hita (universal welfare), aligning collective intention with the cosmic order upheld by Pati (Shiva).
Though the verse is narrative, its theme—acting for the good of all beings—reflects the fruit of Saguna Shiva worship: purification of intention and protection of the worlds, which the Linga signifies as Shiva’s sustaining presence.
A practical takeaway is saṅkalpa aligned to loka-hita before worship—begin Linga-puja or japa with a clear intention for universal welfare, ideally with Panchakshara japa ("Om Namaḥ Śivāya") and a calm, collective or family prayer setting.
