Genealogy of Svāyambhuva Manu and the Dhruva Episode
ददौ स दश धर्माय कश्यपाय त्रयोदश । द्वे चैवं ब्रह्मपुत्राय द्वे चैवाङ्गिरसे तदा
dadau sa daśa dharmāya kaśyapāya trayodaśa | dve caivaṃ brahmaputrāya dve caivāṅgirase tadā
Then he bestowed ten (daughters) upon Dharma, thirteen upon Kaśyapa, and likewise two upon the son of Brahmā, and two upon Aṅgiras at that time.

The verse frames social and cosmic order (dharma) as sustained through properly aligned relationships and responsibilities; in Shaiva Siddhanta this supports the purification of the pashu (bound soul) so it may turn toward Pati (Shiva) through righteous living and devotion.
Though the verse is genealogical, it implicitly supports Saguna Shiva worship by affirming dharmic household life as a valid āśrama for devotion—where daily puja, Linga-archana, and remembrance of Shiva sanctify worldly duties and orient them toward liberation.
A practical takeaway is to perform steady householder sādhanā: daily Shiva-nāma japa (especially the Panchakshara, “Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) and simple Linga worship with purity and discipline, dedicating family duties as an offering to Shiva.
