Nandikeśvara: Incarnation, Consecration, and Marriage—Description
अजेयस्सर्वजेता च सदा पूज्यो महाबलः । अहं यत्र भवांस्तत्र यत्र त्वं तत्र चाप्यहम्
ajeyassarvajetā ca sadā pūjyo mahābalaḥ | ahaṃ yatra bhavāṃstatra yatra tvaṃ tatra cāpyaham
You are unconquerable, the conqueror of all, ever worthy of worship, and possessed of great power. Wherever you are, there I am; and wherever you are, there too am I.
Suta Goswami (narrating the Śatarudrasaṃhitā dialogue; the verse is framed as a devotee’s address to Lord Shiva emphasizing inseparability through grace)
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Paśupatinātha
Type: stotra
Role: liberating
It declares Shiva as the supreme, unconquerable Pati and affirms the intimacy of divine grace: the Lord is not distant—wherever the devotee turns in remembrance and surrender, Shiva is present.
By calling Shiva “ever worthy of worship,” it supports Saguna upasana through the Shiva Linga as a stable focus for devotion, while also teaching that Shiva’s presence is not confined to one place—Linga worship trains the mind to perceive His all-pervading nearness.
Practice constant smaraṇa (remembrance) with japa of the Panchakshara “Om Namaḥ Śivāya,” and reinforce it with daily Shiva-puja—optionally wearing Rudraksha and applying Tripundra (bhasma) as aids to sustained awareness of Shiva’s presence.
