Arjuna–Gaṇa Saṃvāda: Bāṇādhikāra, Tāpasa-veṣa, and the Ethics of Tapas (अर्जुन-गणसंवादः)

Nandīśvara said: “Thus, Arjuna—whose true strength had been gained through the grace of Mahādeva—having heard these words, the Bhilla hunter then spoke in reply.”
Nandishvara (Nandi)
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Mahādeva
It emphasizes that real power (sat-bala) arises from Maheshvara’s grace, highlighting the Shaiva view that divine kripa elevates and perfects the devotee beyond mere personal effort.
By naming Maheshvara as the giver of strength, the verse points to Saguna Shiva as the accessible Lord who responds to devotion; Linga-worship similarly centers on receiving Shiva’s grace through reverence and surrender.
A practical takeaway is to seek Shiva’s kripa through steady japa of the Panchakshara (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) and devotional worship, cultivating humility so that strength is understood as Shiva-given rather than ego-born.
