The Account of Śiva’s Manifestation as Vaiśyanātha
शिवं सम्पूज्य सा नित्यं सेवन्ती जगदीश्वरम् । ननर्त परया भक्त्या गायन्ती शिवसद्यशः
śivaṃ sampūjya sā nityaṃ sevantī jagadīśvaram | nanarta parayā bhaktyā gāyantī śivasadyaśaḥ
Having duly worshipped Śiva, she constantly attended upon the Lord of the universe. Singing of Śiva’s immediate glory, she danced with supreme devotion.

Tattva Level: pashu
Shiva Form: Mahādeva
It teaches that steady, daily worship and heartfelt service to Jagadīśvara Śiva—expressed through kīrtana (singing) and devotional movement—purifies the soul (paśu) and draws the Lord’s grace, which is central to liberation in a Shaiva Siddhanta mood.
The verse emphasizes sampūjā (proper worship) and nitya-sevā (constant attendance), which aligns with Saguna worship of Śiva—commonly through the Śiva-liṅga—followed by praising His manifest glory (yaśas) as a devotional continuation of ritual.
Maintain nitya-pūjā of Śiva (often liṅga-pūjā), then practice kīrtana/japa—especially the Panchākṣarī “Om Namaḥ Śivāya”—as ongoing sevā; devotional singing is implied as a simple, repeatable sādhanā.
