At the gods’ supplication, he released him, recognizing his immense might; and he attained the incarnation of Śiva, along with the boons granted by the gods and the divine seers.

Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Rudra
It highlights that sincere supplication and recognition of Śiva’s supreme power lead to divine grace—Śiva manifests (avatāra) and bestows upliftment through ordained boons, indicating the compassionate Pati who responds to bhakti.
By emphasizing Śiva’s avatāra (a saguna manifestation), the verse supports worship of Śiva in accessible forms—such as the Liṅga—through which devotees and devas approach Him and receive protection and blessings.
Deva-like stuti and japa—especially steady repetition of the Pañcākṣarī (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) with surrender—aligns the mind to Śiva’s grace; offerings like bhasma (tripuṇḍra) and rudrākṣa may accompany this devotional focus.
