हनुमान्स महावीरो रामकार्यकरस्सदा । रामदूताभिधो लोके दैत्यघ्नो भक्तवत्सलः
hanumānsa mahāvīro rāmakāryakarassadā | rāmadūtābhidho loke daityaghno bhaktavatsalaḥ
Hanumān is that great hero who ever carries out Rāma’s work. Known in the world as Rāma’s messenger, he is the slayer of the daityas and ever affectionate to devotees.

Though the verse praises Hanuman in a Rama-centered frame, the Shiva Purana’s Shaiva lens highlights Saguna devotion: honoring divine forms, serving the Lord’s purpose, and protecting devotees—qualities central to Linga-upasana and devotional discipline.
Adopt sevā-bhāva (service-attitude) with japa: repeat a chosen divine name with steadiness, and cultivate bhakta-vatsalya—supporting and protecting sincere devotees as a daily vow.
