Viśvānara-Gṛhapati Upākhyāna — Śivasya Agni-gṛhe Avatāraḥ
The Account of Viśvānara Gṛhapati and Śiva’s Descent into the House of Fire
त्वया शुचे शुचिष्मत्यां योऽभिलाषः कृतो हृदि । अचिरेणैव कालेन स भविष्यत्यसंशयम्
tvayā śuce śuciṣmatyāṃ yo'bhilāṣaḥ kṛto hṛdi | acireṇaiva kālena sa bhaviṣyatyasaṃśayam
O pure one—O radiant, virtuous lady—whatever heartfelt desire you have formed within, that will indeed be fulfilled in a short time, without doubt.
Lord Shiva
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Sadashiva
Role: liberating
It teaches that when a devotee’s intention is purified and centered in the heart, Shiva’s grace removes obstacles and brings the rightful fruit quickly—showing the Lord as compassionate Pati who responds to sincere bhakti.
It aligns with Saguna Shiva worship where the devotee approaches Shiva in a personal form (often through the Linga) with a clear inner resolve; the verse emphasizes Shiva’s direct assurance that such devotion receives tangible, timely blessings.
Offer simple Linga-puja with a pure intention—apply Tripuṇḍra (bhasma), chant the Pañcākṣarī “Om Namaḥ Śivāya,” and make the wish inwardly (hṛdi) with steadiness and trust in Shiva’s timing.
