atha sarvaiḥ stutā devairdevyadbhutakutūhalā | uvāca svāminaṃ prītyā nānālīlāviśāradam
Then the Goddess—praised by all the gods and filled with wondrous curiosity—lovingly addressed her Lord, the One fully adept in manifold divine plays (līlās).

It highlights bhakti as a valid Shaiva approach: after the devas’ stuti (praise), the Devī turns to Śiva with prīti (loving devotion), showing that reverent praise naturally matures into intimate surrender and inquiry before Pati (the Lord).
Calling Śiva “līlā-viśārada” emphasizes Saguna Śiva—knowable through His compassionate actions and divine play. In Linga-worship too, devotees first offer stuti and then present their heartfelt questions and prayers, trusting the Lord’s responsive grace.
Begin pūjā with stotra or simple stuti, then offer a personal prayer with prīti. As a meditation, repeat the Pañcākṣarī (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) while contemplating Śiva as the compassionate Lord of līlā, and let inquiry arise from devotion.
