Then, when their amorous union had concluded, Bhagavān Rudra vanished from sight—O sage—together with His consort, His gaṇas, and accompanied by the assembled gods.

Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
It highlights Śiva’s sovereignty over manifestation: even while engaging in divine līlā with Śakti, He remains free to withdraw from perception, showing that the Lord is not confined to the visible world and is ultimately beyond grasp.
Śiva’s becoming “adarśana” points to the truth that the Lord may be unseen, yet remains present and approachable through saguna supports like the Śiva-liṅga, mantra, and pūjā—means by which devotees relate to the transcendent Lord in a worshipable form.
A takeaway is mantra-japa and inner recollection when the Lord is not ‘seen’: steady japa of the Pañcākṣarī (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) with vibhūti (tripuṇḍra) and rudrākṣa supports remembrance of Śiva beyond sensory perception.
