Bāṇāsura Receives Gaṇapatya; Genealogical Prelude
तस्य बाणासुरस्यैव शिवभक्तस्य चामराः । शंकरस्य प्रसादेन किंकरा इव तेऽभवन्
tasya bāṇāsurasyaiva śivabhaktasya cāmarāḥ | śaṃkarasya prasādena kiṃkarā iva te'bhavan
By Śaṅkara’s grace, the Cāmaras belonging to that Bāṇāsura—who was indeed a devotee of Śiva—became like attendants in service, as though they were Śiva’s own servants.

It emphasizes that Śiva’s prasāda can transform even a devotee’s associates into disciplined servants of dharma—showing that bhakti draws the Lord’s grace, which purifies and reorders one’s entire sphere of influence.
The verse highlights Saguna Śiva (Śaṅkara) as the personal Lord who bestows favor upon devotees; in Linga-worship, this same Śiva is approached through devotion and service, receiving prasāda that uplifts the worshipper and community.
The takeaway is sevā-bhāva (service-attitude): daily japa of the Pañcākṣarī “Om Namaḥ Śivāya” with Tripuṇḍra (bhasma) and Rudrākṣa, dedicating actions to Śiva to invite his prasāda.
