Tattva Level: pashu
Shiva Form: Paśupatinātha
It portrays the orderly unfolding of dharma’s protection: when adharma rises in many forms, Shiva’s divine power manifests through Skanda to meet each force appropriately, emphasizing disciplined courage and divinely guided action.
Skanda functions as a Saguna expression of Shiva’s protective grace; devotion to Shiva—often centered on the Linga—recognizes that the formless Lord (Nirguna) also acts through manifest powers (Saguna) to restore balance.
The verse implies steadiness and order (krama): devotees may take it as a cue to maintain regular Shiva-sadhana—daily Panchakshara japa (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) and Tripuṇḍra/Bhasma remembrance—so inner conflicts are faced systematically.
