May He alone accomplish everything; may He alone protect you as well. By His grace alone, may He ever fully cover you—enfolding you in His safeguarding presence.

It affirms Śiva as the sole agent behind creation and life’s outcomes, and emphasizes anugraha (divine grace) as the decisive power that protects and spiritually “envelops” the devotee, leading toward release from bondage.
In Linga/Saguna worship, the devotee approaches Śiva as the accessible protector and refuge; this verse mirrors that surrender—seeking that the Lord who is worshipped in the Linga-form alone accomplishes, guards, and grants grace.
A simple śaraṇāgati (surrender) prayer can be paired with japa of the Pañcākṣarī “Om Namaḥ Śivāya,” mentally offering all actions to Śiva and asking for His anugraha and protection throughout the day.
