शिवेति नामपीयूषवर्षधारापरिप्लुतः । संसारदवमध्यपि न शोचति न संशयः
śiveti nāmapīyūṣavarṣadhārāpariplutaḥ | saṃsāradavamadhyapi na śocati na saṃśayaḥ
One who is drenched by the rain-stream of nectar that is the Name “Śiva”—even while standing in the midst of the wildfire of worldly existence—does not grieve; of this there is no doubt.

In Saguna worship, the devotee approaches Śiva through accessible supports—Linga-pūjā and nāma-japa. This verse emphasizes that even simple utterance of the Lord’s Name carries Śiva’s cooling, protective presence amid worldly suffering.
Regular Shiva-nāma japa—especially the Panchākṣarī “Om Namaḥ Śivāya”—as daily practice; it may be combined with Linga-abhiṣeka, Tripuṇḍra (bhasma) and Rudrākṣa to deepen steadiness and devotion.
