“Wherever you go, and whenever you go for the sake of your own duty, these (attendants) will also go there and there—at those very times—so as to assist you.”
Lord Shiva
Tattva Level: pasha
Shiva Form: Mahadeva
It teaches that when one acts according to sva-dharma, Shiva’s grace manifests as timely support—help arrives wherever duty calls, showing the Lord as Pati who guides and protects the devotee.
As Saguna Shiva, the Lord is personally accessible and responsive; worship of the Linga with devotion is a way of seeking this living presence—Shiva’s concrete help in the devotee’s worldly and spiritual responsibilities.
Before beginning one’s duties, mentally offer the action to Shiva and repeat the Pañcākṣarī mantra “Om Namaḥ Śivāya,” seeking right intention and Shiva’s assistance in completing dharmic work.
