Brahmā said: After granting that boon to the sage, when Lord Śambhu had disappeared from sight, the sage went to perform his sandhyā-vandana (twilight worship) and proceeded to that very place where the muni Medhātithi was.

It shows that even after a direct divine encounter and receiving a boon, the devotee remains grounded in niyama (disciplined observance) like sandhyā worship—devotion is sustained through regular practice, not only extraordinary visions.
Śambhu’s appearing and then becoming hidden highlights Saguna grace (Śiva accessible to the devotee) while also indicating transcendence—Śiva is not bound to form or constant visibility; worship continues through rites and remembrance even when He is unseen.
Sandhyā worship at the junctions of day (dawn/dusk) is implied—regular japa, purification, and prayerful recollection of Śiva as part of daily sādhana.
