sūta uvāca | ityākarṇya vacastasya brahmaputraśca dhīmataḥ | saṃsmṛtya śaṃkaraṃ saktyā brahmā provāca tattvavit
Sūta said: Hearing those words, the wise son of Brahmā (Nārada) recalled Śaṅkara with focused inner power; then Brahmā, the knower of truth, spoke.
Suta Goswami
Tattva Level: pashu
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
Role: teaching
It highlights śiva-smaraṇa (remembrance of Śaṅkara) as a turning point that awakens right understanding; the knower of truth (Brahmā) then speaks in alignment with the supreme Pati (Śiva).
Though the verse does not mention the Liṅga directly, it models Saguna upāsanā through mindful remembrance of Śaṅkara—an inner act that supports outer worship and prepares the mind for Śiva’s grace.
A simple practice is focused dhyāna and nāma-smaraṇa of Śaṅkara (e.g., repeating “Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) with steadiness of śakti (inner resolve).
