देवस्तुतिः—शिवस्य परब्रह्मत्वं, मायाशक्तिः, कर्मफलप्रदातृत्वं च
Devas’ Hymn: Śiva as Parabrahman, Māyā-Śakti, and Giver of Karmic Fruits
पूर्णभागोस्तु ते नाथावशिष्टेऽध्वरकर्मणि । रुद्रभागेन यज्ञस्ते कल्पितो नान्यथा क्वचित्
pūrṇabhāgostu te nāthāvaśiṣṭe'dhvarakarmaṇi | rudrabhāgena yajñaste kalpito nānyathā kvacit
O Lord, may Your full share be duly assigned in the remaining rites of this sacrifice. For this yajña can be properly completed only by the portion belonging to Rudra—never otherwise, at any time.
Suta Goswami (narrating the Sati Khanda episode to the sages of Naimisharanya)
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Rudra
It teaches that sacred action (yajña) becomes spiritually effective only when Rudra—Pati, the Lord of grace—is honored; without acknowledging Shiva, ritual remains incomplete and cannot yield its highest fruit.
Rudra’s ‘share’ signifies offering and reverence to Saguna Shiva as the living presence who sanctifies worship; in Shaiva practice this is expressed through Linga-pūjā, where all offerings are consciously dedicated to Shiva as the inner Lord of the rite.
Offer the ‘Rudra-bhāga’ by dedicating worship to Shiva—recite the Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya), apply Tripuṇḍra (bhasma) with remembrance of Rudra, and make offerings with the intention that Shiva is the true recipient and fulfiller of the rite.
