Satī’s Address to Śiva
तत्र देवी सखियुता साप्सरोगणमंडिता । नित्यं करिष्यति शची तव योग्यां सहायताम्
tatra devī sakhiyutā sāpsarogaṇamaṃḍitā | nityaṃ kariṣyati śacī tava yogyāṃ sahāyatām
There, the goddess Śacī—accompanied by her companions and adorned by hosts of Apsarases—will continually render to you the fitting help that is worthy of you.
Suta Goswami (narrating the Rudra Samhita account to the sages of Naimisharanya)
Tattva Level: pashu
The verse highlights that divine help arises in a “befitting” way (yogyā sahāyatā) when one is aligned with dharma; in Shaiva understanding, such supportive grace ultimately serves the soul’s progress toward Shiva’s favor and inner steadiness.
Though the verse names Śacī and Apsarases rather than the Liṅga directly, it reflects the Purāṇic principle that Saguna Shiva’s cosmic order includes divine agencies that assist devotees and uphold dharma—supporting the devotional path that culminates in Shiva-oriented worship.
The practical takeaway is to seek “worthy assistance” through disciplined devotion—regular japa of the Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) and steady purity of conduct—so that supportive circumstances arise naturally within Shiva’s ordained order.
