अंगदान्वलयानूर्मान्विश्लेष्य च पुनः पुनः । तत्स्थानात्पुनरेवासौ तत्स्थाने प्रत्ययोजयत्
aṃgadānvalayānūrmānviśleṣya ca punaḥ punaḥ | tatsthānātpunarevāsau tatsthāne pratyayojayat
Again and again he removed the armlets, bracelets, and rings; then, taking them back from where they had been set, he placed them once more in their proper positions.

In Saguna worship, external order—cleanliness, proper arrangement, and reverent conduct—supports concentration; the verse mirrors how a devotee repeatedly corrects posture, items, and attention while approaching Shiva (as Linga) with increasing one-pointedness.
It suggests repeated self-correction (punar-abhiyoga): calmly adjusting one’s ritual readiness—dress, purity, and focus—while maintaining japa of the Panchākṣarī (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) to steady the mind and reduce distraction.
