सतीप्राप्तिविषये ब्रह्मरुद्रसंवादः | The Brahmā–Śiva Dialogue on Attaining Satī

ब्रह्मोवाच । इति श्रुत्वा मम वचो लौकिकी गतिमाश्रितः । उवाच विहसन्रुद्रो मुने मां भक्तवत्सलः

brahmovāca | iti śrutvā mama vaco laukikī gatimāśritaḥ | uvāca vihasanrudro mune māṃ bhaktavatsalaḥ

Brahmā said: “Having thus heard my words, Rudra—assuming a worldly manner—smilingly spoke to me, O sage, for he is ever affectionate to his devotees.”
