FAQs

It proclaims Shiva as the ultimate authority behind revelation (Āgamas and transmitted traditions) and as the highest refuge for bhaktas—pointing to surrender to Pati (the Lord) as the way beyond bondage.

By calling Shiva the ‘ocean of Āgamas,’ it implicitly affirms Agamic, Saguna modes of worship—such as Linga-puja—where devotees approach the Supreme through sanctified forms and scripturally guided rites.

A simple takeaway is Agama-aligned bhakti: offer namaskara and japa with the Panchakshara mantra (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”), treating Shiva as one’s sole parāyaṇa (refuge) while cultivating his guṇas—purity, compassion, and steadiness.
