Suta Goswami
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Naṭarāja
Sthala Purana: Not a Jyotirliṅga narrative; the verse highlights celebratory arts (gīta-nṛtya-stuti) and dāna as dharmic responses to divine presence.
Significance: Encourages pilgrims to participate through kīrtana, nṛtya, and dāna—seen as bhakti-expressions that purify and accrue puṇya.
Type: stotra
Offering: pushpa
It depicts dharmic celebration around a sacred Shaiva event: devotion is expressed through auspicious song, reverent praise (stuti), and generous giving (dāna), which purify the mind and invite Shiva’s grace.
The verse highlights Saguna-bhakti—honoring the manifest Lord through public praise, auspicious rites, and offerings—reflecting the Shiva Purana’s emphasis that heartfelt stuti and respectful giving support Linga-worship and devotional stability.
Perform stuti or kirtana as maṅgala (auspicious praise), accompany it with sattvic giving (dāna) to devotees/priests, and keep the mind fixed in devotion—optionally supported by japa of “Om Namaḥ Śivāya.”
