मधुबिम्बाधरोष्ठां च रत्नयावकसंयुताम् । रत्नदर्प्पणहस्तां च क्रीडापद्मविभूषिताम्

Her lips were like the sweet bimba-fruit, adorned with yāvak dye like a jewel’s red. In her hand she held a mirror set with gems, and she was graced with a lotus meant for playful sport.

It presents Pārvatī’s auspicious, luminous form as Śakti—an object of sattvic contemplation—through which devotion matures into reverence for the inseparable Shiva–Shakti reality.
By portraying the divine form (saguṇa) with sacred beauty and symbols, it supports form-based worship that steadies the mind; such devotion culminates in worship of Śiva as Pati, with Pārvatī as His Śakti, often centered on the Liṅga in Shaiva practice.
A simple practice is dhyāna (visual meditation) on the auspicious form of Pārvatī alongside Śiva while repeating the Pañcākṣarī mantra “Om Namaḥ Śivāya,” cultivating purity, devotion, and one-pointedness.
