Just then, in that very place, Lord Viṣṇu arrived—radiant with every kind of splendor, illustrious and glorious, cloud-dark in hue, and four-armed.

Tattva Level: pati
It highlights divine coordination in sacred events: Viṣṇu’s auspicious arrival signifies that even the foremost devas participate in and honor the unfolding of Śiva-centered cosmic purpose, supporting dharma and devotion.
By describing Viṣṇu’s saguna form—splendid, four-armed—it reinforces that saguna contemplation is a valid devotional support; within the Shiva Purana’s Shaiva frame, such divine manifestations ultimately align toward reverence of Śiva, often culminating in Linga-centered worship and grace.
Takeaway: cultivate darśana-bhāva—mentally visualize the deity with auspicious attributes while chanting a Shiva mantra (especially the Pañcākṣarī “Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) and offer simple worship with purity and steadiness.
