Likewise, he also assembled all the hosts of sages, the Yakṣas, Gandharvas and Kinnaras, the Siddhas and Vidyādharas, and also the multitudes of Apsarās.

The verse emphasizes Shiva’s cosmic sovereignty: all orders of beings—humanly accessible sages and celestial communities—are drawn into the sacred event, showing that Shaiva grace and dharma operate across all realms.
By depicting a universal gathering of exalted beings, the text underscores Saguna Shiva’s manifest lordship—worship (including Linga-upasana) is presented as a public, cosmic act that even divine and semi-divine beings honor.
The takeaway is “satsaṅga and smaraṇa”: join holy company (like the ṛṣis) and remember Shiva with mantra—especially the Pañcākṣarī “Om Namaḥ Śivāya”—as a daily practice to align one’s mind with the sacred assembly.
