दुःखं च विविधं तत्र गणितं न तयागतम् । केवलं मन आधाय शिवे सासीत्स्थिता मुने

Many kinds of sorrow were present there, yet she did not take them into account. Fixing her mind solely upon Śiva, she remained unwavering, O sage.
Suta Goswami
Tattva Level: pashu
Shiva Form: Dakṣiṇāmūrti
Shakti Form: Pārvatī
Role: liberating
It praises Pārvatī’s steadfast bhakti: suffering is not denied, but it is not allowed to bind the soul when the mind rests in Pati (Śiva), pointing to liberation through unwavering devotion.
Her practice is inner worship—holding Śiva in the heart—yet it aligns with Saguna devotion expressed outwardly through Liṅga-pūjā, where the devotee learns to keep constant remembrance beyond circumstances.
One-pointed meditation and japa: place the mind on Śiva through the Pañcākṣarī (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”), supported by simple disciplines like bhasma (tripuṇḍra) and rudrākṣa to stabilize remembrance.
