Brahma
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
Mantra: (implied) oṃ namaḥ śivāya / namaḥ śivāya
Type: panchakshara
Shakti Form: Pārvatī
Role: liberating
It highlights that Pārvatī’s approach to Śiva is guided by śāstra: the liberating connection to Pati (Śiva) is established through the pañcākṣarī mantra received with proper discipline, preparing the soul (paśu) for grace and union.
The Śambhu-mantra is a direct means to worship Saguna Śiva—often practiced alongside Liṅga-pūjā—where mantra, offering, and inner meditation converge to focus devotion and invite Śiva’s presence.
Mantra-upadeśa and japa of the pañcākṣara (commonly understood as “Namaḥ Śivāya”) according to vidhi—regular repetition with purity, devotion, and a regulated worship routine.
