अहं सर्वं सुनिश्चित्य कारणं तस्य सद्धिया । वरं दातुं गतस्तत्र यत्र तप्यति सोऽसुरः
ahaṃ sarvaṃ suniścitya kāraṇaṃ tasya saddhiyā | varaṃ dātuṃ gatastatra yatra tapyati so'suraḥ
Having clearly ascertained everything with sound discernment—the true cause behind his undertaking—I went to that very place to grant a boon, where that asura was performing austerities.
Lord Shiva (in narration within the Rudrasaṃhitā context)
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
Role: liberating
It shows Shiva as the conscious, discerning Lord (Pati) who does not act impulsively—He first understands the cause and intent, then engages the devotee (even an asura) through the law of tapas and the granting of boons.
The verse highlights Saguna Shiva’s accessible grace: the personal Lord responds to austerity and devotion. In Linga-worship, this same principle is enacted—approaching Shiva with discipline and sincerity draws His anugraha (grace).
The takeaway is steadiness in tapas and right intention (saddhī). Practically, one may adopt daily japa of the Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) with simple vrata-like discipline, supported by Tripuṇḍra (bhasma) and Rudrākṣa as aids to focus and purity.
