The verse highlights a Shaiva Siddhanta theme: when devotees praise and surrender to Shiva (Pati), his grace removes obstacles and grants both worldly fulfillment and inner contentment, aligning desire with dharma and higher good.
In Kotirudrasaṃhitā, devotion to Shiva through reverence and bowing is typically expressed in Jyotirlinga/Linga worship—approaching Saguna Shiva with stuti and namaskara, through which the devotee receives anugraha (grace) and desired results.
A simple practice implied is daily Shiva-stuti and namaskara before the Linga—optionally with Panchakshara japa ("Om Namaḥ Śivāya")—cultivating surrender, steadiness of mind, and the experience of yathāsukham (contented well-being).
