It teaches that devotion to Shiva is expressed through orderly, sanctified giving—arranging sacred kumbhas and offering them with respectful gifts—so that worship becomes both inner reverence and outer dharma, inviting Shiva’s grace.
In Saguna Shiva worship (such as Jyotirlinga pilgrimage rites), prescribed offerings like kumbhas, cloth, fruits, and dakṣiṇā support the consecrated atmosphere of Linga-pūjā and honor the ritual framework through which devotees approach Shiva’s manifest presence.
A practical takeaway is charitable ritual offering (dāna) during Shiva worship—prepare kumbhas and offer them with cloth, fruits, and dakṣiṇā—performed with mantra-recitation and a sattvic intention, aligning action with devotion.
