It emphasizes disciplined, orderly preparation of the sacred space (maṇḍala) so the worship becomes a fit vessel for Śiva’s grace—outer purity supporting inner steadiness and devotion.
The careful placement of pots around and within the maṇḍala establishes a consecrated field for Saguna worship—supporting offerings, sanctified water, and ritual continuity during Liṅga-pūjā.
It suggests maṇḍala-śuddhi and kalasha-sthāpana: arranging vessels with attention and placing a central pot (preferably golden) as a focal support for consecration, offerings, and mantra-based worship.
