The Manifestation/Origin of the Rāmeśvara Liṅga
अथ ज्ञात्वा गतां लंकां सीतां कपिवराननात् । सीताचूडामणिं प्राप्य मुमुदे सोऽति राघवः
atha jñātvā gatāṃ laṃkāṃ sītāṃ kapivarānanāt | sītācūḍāmaṇiṃ prāpya mumude so'ti rāghavaḥ
Then, learning from the foremost of monkeys that Sītā had gone to Laṅkā, and receiving Sītā’s crest-jewel (cūḍāmaṇi), Rāghava (Rāma) rejoiced exceedingly.

Though the scene is Ramayana-linked, the Purāṇic intent is devotional: reliable testimony and sacred emblems kindle faith—similar to how Saguna Shiva worship through the Liṅga uses visible symbols (bhasma, rudrākṣa, liṅga-darśana) to stabilize the mind and direct it toward the Supreme Pati (Shiva).
The takeaway is remembrance and steadiness: keep a sacred support (liṅga-dhyāna, rudrākṣa, or tripuṇḍra) and repeat the Panchākṣarī—“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”—to convert anxiety into focused devotion before undertaking one’s duty.
