तत्पित्रा गिरिजा तत्र पूजिता विधिभिर्वरैः । सुयत्नतो महाभक्त्या स्वपुत्रसुखहेतवे
tatpitrā girijā tatra pūjitā vidhibhirvaraiḥ | suyatnato mahābhaktyā svaputrasukhahetave
There, Girijā (Pārvatī) was worshipped by her father with excellent prescribed rites—carefully and with great devotion—so that his own son might attain happiness and well-being.

Perform pūjā with careful observance (vidhi) and steady devotion (mahābhakti); as a practical takeaway, one may add japa of the Pañcākṣarī (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) alongside simple offerings, keeping intention pure and disciplined.
