Having resolved in the mind the five offerings (pañcopacāra), one should worship Śiva three times with the root-mantra (mūla-mantra). And upon the filaments of the lotus, O Mahēśvarī, one should place the nyāsa of the six limbs (ṣaḍaṅga).

It teaches that outer worship (pañcopacāra) must be sealed by inner intention (saṅkalpa) and empowered by mantra and nyāsa—so devotion becomes a disciplined, consciousness-based approach to Pati (Śiva) rather than mere ritual.
The verse outlines a saguna mode of worship—offering services and invoking Śiva through the root-mantra—while ṣaḍaṅga nyāsa sanctifies the worshipper’s body-mind as a fit vessel to approach the Liṅga as the living presence of Pati.
Perform pañcopacāra pūjā with a clear saṅkalpa, repeat the mūla-mantra three times, and do ṣaḍaṅga nyāsa (hṛdaya–śiras–śikhā–kavaca–netra–astra) on the lotus filaments (or mentally on the worship-seat) to stabilize mantra-śakti.
