In the Agneya (fire, southeastern) compartment, within a yellow-hued square, one should draw an eight-petalled lotus—reddish in colour, with a yellow karṇikā (pericarp) at its centre.
Lord Shiva (instructing on ritual/yantra visualization within the Kailasa Samhita discourse)
Tattva Level: pasha
Shiva Form: Sadyojāta
Role: creative
It encodes a sacred visualization: the ordered placement of colour, direction, and lotus-form disciplines the mind, making the inner worship fit to receive Shiva’s grace (Pati) and loosen bondage (pāśa) for the bound soul (paśu).
Such lotus-and-direction prescriptions commonly serve as the supporting yantric seat (āsana) for Saguna worship—preparing a consecrated inner/outer space in which the Linga or a form of Shiva is invoked and stabilized in meditation.
A dhyāna/yantra practice: mentally or physically draw a yellow square in the Agni (southeast) section and inscribe an eight-petalled lotus with a yellow centre, then proceed with mantra-japa and offering as instructed in the surrounding rite.
