गजाननपूजा तथा औपासन-होमविधिः
Worship of Gajānana and the Procedure of Aupāsana-Homa
सदाशिवश्च शक्तिश्च शिवश्चेदं तु पञ्चकम् । शिव तत्त्वमिदम्ब्रह्मन्प्रज्ञानब्रह्मवाग्यतः
sadāśivaśca śaktiśca śivaścedaṃ tu pañcakam | śiva tattvamidambrahmanprajñānabrahmavāgyataḥ
Sadāśiva, Śakti, and Śiva—together these constitute this fivefold reality. O Brahman, this is the principle of Śiva (Śiva-tattva), as declared by the great Vedic utterance: “Consciousness is Brahman.”
Lord Shiva (teaching in a philosophical discourse of the Kailasa Samhita)
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
Mantra: prajñānam brahma
Shakti Form: Pārvatī
Role: liberating
It frames Śiva-tattva as the highest reality, understood as pure consciousness, and presents Śiva together with His Śakti as the core metaphysical ground leading toward liberation.
By identifying Śiva with the ultimate principle of consciousness, it supports Linga/Saguna worship as a meditative gateway: the form leads the devotee toward realization of the formless Śiva-tattva inseparable from Śakti.
Contemplate Śiva as pure awareness while japa-ing a Śiva-mantra (especially Pañcākṣarī, “Om Namaḥ Śivāya”), integrating devotion with inner inquiry into consciousness (prajñā).
