Sukta 9.24

Devata: Soma Pavamāna

शुचिः पावक उच्यते सोमः सुतस्य मध्वः । देवावीरघशंसहा ॥

śúciḥ pāvaká ucyate sómaḥ sutásya mádhvaḥ | devāvī́r aghaśaṃsahā́ ||

Pure and flaming-clear is Soma called, of the pressed sweetness; a hero for the gods, slayer of the ill-speaking darkness—he guards the divine life in us.
