इन्द्रे अग्ना नमो बृहत्सुवृक्तिमेरयामहे । धिया धेना अवस्यवः ॥

índre agnā́ námo bṛhát suvṛktím ér ayāmahe | dhiyā́ dhénā avasyávaḥ ||

To Indra and to Agni we offer the vast reverence; we set in motion a well-wrought utterance. With inspired intelligence, as milk-cows of abundance, we seek your help and fostering.
