उत्पू॒षणं॑ युवामहे॒ऽभीशूँ॑रिव॒ सार॑थिः । म॒ह्या इन्द्र॑ा स्व॒स्तये॑ ॥
Transliteration
út pūṣáṇaṃ yuvāmahe ’bhīśū́n-iva sā́rathiḥ | mahyā́ indrā svastáye ||
Translation
We rouse Pūṣan upward, as a charioteer tightens the reins; and (we rouse) Indra for our wide good-being—so the journey of consciousness moves straight and safe.
