Sukta 5.7
इति चिन्मन्युमध्रिजस्त्वादातमा पशुं ददे । आदग्ने अपृणतोऽत्रिः सासह्याद्दस्यूनिषः सासह्यान्नॄन् ॥
इति॑ चिन्म॒न्युम॒ध्रिज॒स्त्वादा॑त॒मा प॒शुं द॑दे । आद॑ग्ने॒ अपृ॑ण॒तोऽत्रि॑: सासह्या॒द्दस्यू॑नि॒षः सा॑सह्या॒न्नॄन् ॥
íti cit manyúm adhríjas tvā́dātam ā́ paśúṃ dade | ā́d agne ápṛṇato ’tríḥ sāsahyā́d dásyūn íṣaḥ sāsahyā́n nṝ́n ||
Thus even the unkindled (or the ill-ordered) gives up his wrath and offers the living power won through you. Then, O Agni, Atri—unfailing in the giving—would overpower the dasyus: he would win the impulsions of increase, he would win the true men (the strong soul-forces).
