असिक्न्यां यजमानो न होता ॥

असि॑क्न्यां॒ यज॑मानो॒ न होता॑ ॥

asíknayāṃ yajámāno ná hotā́ ||

Like a sacrificer, not as a mere officiant, he enters the dark stream—bearing the will to offer, he turns the obscurity itself into a field of the rite.
